Georgetown University MSF Update – Virtual Open House – January 27

The Georgetown University MSF program is very popular among my readers and I wanted to give everyone an update since they will be hosting a virtual open house on January 27th at 7:00PM. This is a great way to ask questions and get feedback regarding this years application process.

Additionally, I have some pretty good information to pass along. First, Georgetown just posted their 2014 Class Profile. Here is what they said:

Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business announced the MSF program in 2013, and the first class was held on January 4, 2014. Listed below are the summary statistics for the inaugural class:

  • 162 applications received
  • 39 students enrolled
  • Students residing in 15 states
  • GMAT Range: 590-750
  • Average age: 27.5
  • Average work experience: 5 years
  • Average Undergraduate GPA: 3.4

These are great stats and really show the range of students that are taking part in this program. I think it also shows the diversity in stats that admissions look at.

I also have a new video for everyone to watch. Goes over the program and includes current students who discuss their decision to apply and ultimately attend the Georgetown MSF program. Should be of some help to those who are considering applying.

As soon as the program ends I will work on getting a student review for all of you. Until then keep checking back for new posts regarding this. I will keep all of you updated!
