Washington University in St. Louis Master in Finance update

Olin School of Business

There are a lot of great things going on over at the Washington University in St. Louis Master of Finance program. I just got word that they have split there MSF program into two tracks: Corporate finance and Quantitative finance. WUSTL was always regarded as one of the more quant MSF programs and this bifurcation allows for true specialization.

I will be posting some more updates as they become available. Be looking for more WUSTL content in the months to come.

Here is the 2011 class profile:

 MS/FINANCE CLASS OF 2011 PROFILE

Total number of students

66

 Median age

23

Average GMAT

722

Average GPA

3.47

Female students

47%

Students with previous full-time work experience

39%

The program has a very high GMAT average. I think this is on par with Claremont McKenna and MIT. Another thing I like and find amazing is the 47% female class statistics. Bravo to WUSTL for being able to field a class with that kind of diversity.
