The University of Southern California Master in Finance program is brand new and hot off the presses. I came across it today and am very much excited to see another great West Coast option start up. The website is still filling out and things are fluid, but will start class this May with 50 students.
“Unlike an MBA program, there are no minimum years of work experience required for admission. A strong GPA, a resume, two references and essays will be required with your application. GMAT or GRE scores are recommended but not required. USC policy regarding TOEFL, PTE or IELTS scores will be applied.”
This also marks one of the best brand name schools offering a master in finance to not require a GMAT. Will this last? Who knows, but right now it is optional.
I’ve reached out to admissions and will post more information as it is made available. Until now here is a link to the website.
Note: The program looks to be down right now. Not sure why or what is going on. I will update this post once the website is back up. Stay tuned.
