The University of Rochester Master in Finance and Master in Management are two programs that I have posted about before on the site before and after attending 2013 Simon NYC Conference – Reform at a Crossroad: Economic Transformation in the Year Ahead I have some new information.
Master in Finance Program
- Starts in March (next class begins 2014)
- 13 month, part-time program
- Classes held in Midtown Manhattan (NYC presence)
- Residency weeks in Rochester and Europe (2013 class went to Switzerland)
Master in Management Program
- Starts in July (first class this year)
- 13 month, part-time program
- Classes held in Midtown Manhattan (NYC presence)
- Two week residency in Rochester, NY
Both programs are ideal for working professionals, but are also available to those will less work experience. Being located in New York City is a big advantage, as well as being able to continue working and interning during the week.
The MS in Management is a brand new offering for the University of Rochester and is ideally suited for those looking for a broad based management experience with the advantage of being located in NYC and being able to work full time while attending school.
As the program evolves I will make sure to keep all of you posted any updates. They are currently accepting applications for this years class so if you have interest make sure to attend one of their information sessions.
