The University of Arizona Master in Finance program recently put some new marketing materials on their website. There have been a few updates to the program and I felt like it made sense to put a new post up regarding them.
The Arizona MSF program is a one year program designed for students with 0-2 years work experience who are seeking a focused, graduate degree in finance. The program offers 4 specializations:
- Investment Management – Ideal for those interested in the CFA
- Fixed Income
- Corporate Finance – Also used for students interested in consulting
- Real Estate
The master in finance program is also recognized by the CFA Institute for their recognition program.
Every student is required to partake in a Masters Program. Students are placed in pairs and must work on this program during the summer before beginning the program. It is intended to help students achieve a deeper understanding of a specific topic in finance.
I’ll try and speak with someone at Arizona to get some additional information. Once I do I will let everyone know.
