Baruch College Executive MSF Update

Baruch College Masters in Finance

All, I wanted to post an update on the Baruch College Executive MSF program. More and more people have messaged me looking for programs that would be ideal for someone who isn’t junior in their career. Being located in Manhattan is also a distinct advantage. I reached out to the graduate office for an update summary and was provided with the following write up. Hope it helps.

Baruch College, part of the City University of New York system, recently ranked in the top 15 colleges with the most alumni at multiple key financial institutions, including #1 among the “Top 15 Colleges with the Most Alumni at Morgan Stanley;. Baruch College also ranked #4 among the “Top 15 Colleges with the Most Alumni at JPMorgan;” and #13 among the “Top 15 Colleges with the Most Alumni at Goldman Sachs.”

Baruch College is ranked #4 among the Top Colleges for Finance and Financial Management by USA Today and College Factual. Baruch leads the charge of all New York private and public institutions surveyed.

The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College is excited to announce that it is currently accepting applications for the 19th cohort of its Executive MS in Finance program beginning this fall 2015. Baruch’s EMSF program is an intensive, accelerated finance program for experienced professionals that prepares students to become leaders in finance. The 11-month program begins in late July 2015 with a 3-week bootcamp—a series of refresher modules in accounting, finance, and statistics. After a residential orientation at the end of bootcamp, students begin their first trimester with classes on Thursday evenings and all day Saturday.

Towards the end of the program, students embark on an 8-10 day international trip to two different countries. This experience is credit-bearing and includes meetings to international organizations and global financial leaders.

Zicklin Executive Programs requires that candidates have at least 5 years of professional or managerial experience, although our current students have an average of 15 years of experience. To learn more about application requirements, please contact us at execzicklin@baruch.cuny.edu or meet us in-person at one of our upcoming information sessions in New York City: http://blogs.baruch.cuny.edu/execmba/

Apply by April 7, 2015 to be eligible for one of our Executive Fellowship Awards

In the meantime I will work on maybe getting a student review if possible. Until then keep checking back for more information. Good luck!
