I received some updates on the Georgetown University Masters in Finance program and I thought it would be a good time to do an update for all of you. The university is currently accepting applications for their upcoming class so this is also a good time for anyone considering this top notch MSF.

Class Profile
Georgetown has posted their Class of 2022 profile and I wanted to capture it here as I am both very impressed and pleased at the level of detail the university provides.
- Average Years Work Experience – 5 years
- Class Size – 174 students
- GMAT Average – 692
- 20-80% – 640 – 720
- GPA Average – 3.3
- 20-80% – 3.0 – 3.7
- Diversity – 34%
- Female – 30%
The program has a variety of undergraduate majors so those who have a non-business background will not feel out of place. Also, while a number of students in this MSF will have significant work experience, there are plenty of fresh out of undergraduates studying for this masters.
Blue Ribbon Program Scholarship
Georgetown has a great program for veterans that I wanted to highlight.
“We are excited to announce on Veterans Day that Georgetown McDonough will be expanding scholarships of the Yellow Ribbon Program to $20,000 per student annually, with no limit on the number of students who are eligible to participate.”
For Post-9/11 G.I. Bill students eligible for Yellow Ribbon, the expansion in scholarship funding will cover the annual cost of full-time tuition for the majority of McDonough’s graduate programs. Here is a link to the full announcement.
