The Georgetown University MSF program continues to have outstanding success and just released their Class of 2023 career success report. As usual, it is impressive and a testament to the program that Georgetown has built. I will include a couple other updates as well. Enjoy!
Class of 2023 Career Report
The stats on this years class are extremely impressive and I will make an effort to break them down for you and provide as much color as I can. This program always gets a combination of mid career individuals as well as much younger students. The program has evolved over the years, but has always been a great investment for its students.

- 148 Students
- 71 Pre-Experience
- 77 Experienced
- Age Range:24-55Years
The average base salary for the Experienced Students was $157,930. For Pre Experienced Students it was $105,613. This was out of a sample size of 65 students reporting salary data. Both of these are a nice increase off of the prior year.
The program had a 96% placement rate within 6 months of graduation. This was in line with last year and a great indicator.

Industry wise, 21% of graduates went into Corporate Finance. Investment Banking accounted for 16%. Consulting and Private Wealth were 12% each. The remainder of the class went into asset management, commercial banking, real estate, tech and government.

Industry wise, 19% of graduates went into Asset/Portfolio Management. Corporate Finance accounted for 14%. Real Estate, Private Equity, FinTech, Investment Banking and Military/Aviation/Aerospace all accounted for 5% each. Insurance rounded things out with 4% of graduates.

Geographically, graduates tended to find employment primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region, but you can find Georgetown MSF students across the country and globe. This is a program that can help you achieve your goals regardless of industry or geography.

The upcoming year seems to be full, but you can still apply and if a slot opens up you will be considered. Applications generally start in October so you can also use this summer to get things in order.
