Notre Dame Masters in Finance Update – January 2026

The Notre Dame Maters in Finance has a bunch of updates and I wanted to start the new year out with a refresh post on this top tier program. ND is one of the best universities in the country and their MSF continues to grow and strengthen.

2026 Class Profile

  • Class Size – 48 Students
  • Average GPA – 3.6
  • Male / Female – 81% / 19%
  • Countries Represented – 8

When I look back at previous posts this class profile remains consistent. Notre Dame has been able to grow their class size while maintaining close to the same GPA. Always a great thing to see.

Admissions

You still have time to apply for this upcoming year, but time is running out.

Tuition for the 2025-2026 M.S. in Finance program is $72,445.

Student Experiences

The university showcases a number of MSF experiences from recent graduates. A few excerpts are below:

“The faculty cared so much about all of us,” she said. “Their office hours were consistently packed, and they were always there to help us learn. If they didn’t have an answer to a question, they would connect us to the person who did.”

“The instructors strongly emphasized networking and career exploration from the outset,” Doherty noted. She highlighted the Bridge to Success course, which guides students through the job search process and offers tailored support for tasks such as crafting cover letters, optimizing LinkedIn profiles, preparing for industry-specific interviews, and creating effective networking strategies.”

“I wouldn’t be in this position without the master’s degree,” he said. “They did a good job setting up the curriculum to teach real-world things you do every day. That foundational knowledge gives you the skill set to learn and adapt in whatever role in finance you want.”

Class of 2024 Employment Summary

I posted more detail in my last post, but I felt it would be helpful to include the summary here for anyone coming across this program on my site for the first time.

MSF Class of 2024 graduates have started their careers at companies such as:

  • Alpine
  • Deloitte
  • Goldman Sachs
  • JPMorgan Chase
  • Kaufman Hall
  • Lyra Technology Group
  • Northwestern Mutual
  • PwC
  • Stifel

Graduates have started their careers in the following industries

  • Consulting
  • Financial Services
  • Healthcare
  • Real Estate

94% of MSF Class of 2024 graduates accepted full-time offers within six months of graduation with an $77,000 average base salary.

I am waiting on an updated career report that should come out pretty soon. I am sure it will continue to be strong as the Notre Dame reputation is amazing. I’ve had the privilege to work with a number of graduates (including MSF’s) and the program has amazing results.
