The Vanderbilt University Masters in Finance program published a great article on their website discussing the 2018 placements and I found it very interesting. What is great is the fact that the school put together an interactive map, visually showing where all the placements were as well as at what firm. If you zoom out, the map also shows globally where the class of 2018 is working. There is also a discussion about the fact that 2018 was the highest average salary in the programs history, as well as other interesting details.
Also in the article, you can find a list of all the firms hiring graduates. I posted something similar a month ago, but this list is more complete. Not only are there some great firms listed, but 93 percent of MSF graduates accepted an offer within six months of graduating. This is an important statistic and very high within the MSF universe.
If you have time, check out the article (linked in the first sentence). I thought the map was really cool and would love to see the school update the map with historic placements as well. Anyone considering the program would be able to see how truly national the Vanderbilt program is.
As a heads up, I’ve included the remaining application deadlines as well.
