I found a few updates for the Villanova University MSF program as well as some exciting news that I thought would be of interest to all of you. The final round for applications is coming up as well and I am working on some new student reviews so make sure you keep checking back. Lot’s going on with my alma mater!
Program Overview
A couple things I want to bring to everyones attention:
- Curriculum
- Students are required to complete 30 credit hours for this program which has always been the case. Now, there are electives during the spring semester, including an international immersion option. Students can take two MBA classes which opens up a number of potential electives and can allow MSF students the ability to focus their education.
- International Immersion
- This is brand new this year and something very exciting. Only a few MSF program offer this and I think this will be very interesting for anyone interested in potentially working overseas or for a global institution.
Admissions
There is one remaining application deadline so if you are interested you have one last shot for this upcoming years admission.
- Round 4: 6/15
Tuition is currently $54,150 ($1,805 per credit, 30 credits total) as of 3/21/25.
The GMAT/GRE is optional for students with certain GPA’s and with graduate degrees. I would encourage any of you who’d prefer not to take the test to reach out to admissions and inquire about a waiver.
MSF Virtual Information Session
There is an upcoming online information session with admissions that you should definitely check out if you are interested in the program. The details and link are below:
- Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM until 12:30 PM ET
Business Because Article
The Villanova University MSF was just featured in a Business Because article that talks about career outcomes as well as the skills you receive during your time in the program. The article has three stories of how students leveraged the program to jump start their career. I thought it was really informative.

Very exciting updates to the curriculum of the program and I love the addition of an international component. I should have a couple new student reviews next time as well. Stay tuned until next time.
