I know I just posted an update on the Johns Hopkins MSF program a couple months ago, but I was checking out the site and noticed some updates that I wanted to get out there. Still time for the second round application cycle as well. Good luck to all who are applying.
Class Profile
Below is the profile for the Class of 2024:
- Average GMAT – 720
- Average GRE – 333
- 59% Male / 41% Female
- Average GPA – 3.52
- Average Age – 23
- Countries Represented: 4
Things are pretty consistent when compared to the previous year. Less countries represented and more men in the program are the big differences. I believe this MSF is large in size and heavily international so the reduction in countries could mean just more of a focus on China/India.
Admissions
Below are the upcoming deadlines. The first round has finished up, but there is still plenty of time to get your application package in.
Deadlines | Round 2 | Round 3 |
---|---|---|
Candidate deadline | January 8, 2025 | March 19, 2025 |
Decision release | February 26, 2025 | April 23, 2025 |
Initial deposit deadline | April 16, 2025 | May 14, 2025 |
Final deposit deadline | May 21, 2025 | June 11, 2025 |
Tuition for the full time program is currently $88,000. This is broken up over 2 or 3 semesters, depending on if you do the 12 month or 15 month option.
Online Information Sessions
There are a number of online information sessions that anyone who is interested in the program can sign up for and attend. The next one that that makes the most sense for the MSF program is in January. I always encourage this as it expresses interest in the program and also gives you access to the admissions team to ask whatever question you might have.

That is the update for now. Program continues to be successful and build a class with strong academic results. Next time I am in DC I will try and check out their new campus as well.
