Boston College Masters in Finance Program Update – March 2025

It’s been about a year since I updated all of you on the Boston College Masters in Finance program and the website has some refreshed information that I think you will find useful. This is a well established and regarded MSF with both a full time and a part time option. I’ve always liked Boston and BC is a very respected university throughout the country. Definitely a program to consider if you are looking to do your masters.

2024 Class Profile

Full Time MSF

  • Average UG GPA – 3.31
  • Average GMAT – 705
    • GMAT 80th Percentile – 630–716

Compared to last year the scores look very similar. Less international students this year and slightly less women in the full time program. GPA’s have come down a little in the part time program with work experience increasing from >2 years to >4 years.

Plenty of time to apply for both program, but if you have interest, I would strongly encourage getting things in order. Longer you go in the application cycle, the less spots available. Same with scholarship funds.

That is the update for now. I would expect updated career information to be coming any day now. Plenty of time to get that application in if you are interested as well. Stay tuned for more.
