It has been about half a year since I checked in on the Boston College MSF program and I see that they have a bunch of updates. Looks like a new class profile in addition to some general program updates. This MSF has been around for a while and Boston College is very well respected and an established masters program. One to definitely consider if you are looking at this degree.
2025 Class Profile
Full Time MSF
- Average UG GPA – 3.45
- Average GMAT – 648 (Focus Edition)
- Average GMAT – 675 (Previous Format, 10th Edition)
- Average GRE – 325
- International – 47%
- Female – 27%
Part Time MSF
- Average UG GPA – 3.39
- Average Work Experience – 7 years
- Female – 39%
Compared to last year it looks the like the GPA has ticked up a little. This year is the first year I am seeing this new format for the GMAT. Comparing the old format, scores are down slightly, but I would imagine this is because more students are transitioning to the newer format. International students have held firm and women students have declined a little bit.
Tuition / Admissions
Tuition for the 2025-2026 MSF program (part-time and full-time) is $2,306 per credit hour. This comes out to a total tuition of $69,180.

That is the update for right now. If you are interested in this program there are a number of deadlines approaching. This is always a very popular MSF and they have a number of options to suite your needs (quant, full and part time). Definitely consider this program if you are looking to do a masters in finance.
