Robert C. Merton is coming to teach at the MIT Masters in Finance program! This is great news for the MIT program, which is coming up on it’s second year. I think it is also huge for the MSF degree in general to have such a distinguished professor coming back to teach specifically in the masters program.
MIT is one of the best MSF programs in the country, with outstanding academics, placements and student quality. They are growing their program and every year get better and better. As more graduates enter the workforce more employers will know about and understand the master in finance degree. Hopefully as time goes on more schools will offer it as well.
