Northwestern University Masters in Management Update – April 2025

Northwestern Kellogg Masters in Management

It has been a bit since I last checked in on the Northwestern University Masters in Management program and they have some updates that I think will be of interest. It seems like the MiM degree has become increasingly popular and Northwestern is one of the best universities when it comes to a management degree.

Class Profile

Northwestern has an updated class of 2025 profile for all of you considering applying this year.

  • Class Size – 60 students
  • Average GPA – 3.67
  • Diversity:
    • 16 Countries Represented
    • 38 Colleges and Universities

Students in this program come from 23 different, unique majors: Economics & Business – 59%, STEM – 13%, and Humanities – 28%. I think the take away with this program is Northwestern is looking for a well balanced, diversified class of students.

Career Information

There isn’t a lot of specific details on who is hiring MiM students and I checked the Career Management Center and didn’t see anything, but there is some information that I think is useful.

  • 97% of the 2022 class received a job offer within three months of graduating.

This statistic is what you want to see and it is 3 months earlier than most places report on. Considering how well ranked the MBA program is, I would expect the hiring firms and quality of placements from this program to be equally as good. The program offers one-on-one coaching as well as a number of professional development workshops.

Admissions

The application process is fairly standard. The GMAT/GRE is required unless you are a Northwestern undergraduate student with a 3.4 GPA or above.

For those considering this program, you have one more application round still open:

  • Round 4 – May 21st, 2025

Tuition for the program is $66,918. This is in the midrange for most specialized masters. Obviously, this can change so please confirm with admissions.

Information Sessions

If you are interested in learning more about this MiM program and speaking with Northwestern admissions, there are two upcoming information sessions that you can attend.

  • Master in Management Virtual Information Session
    • Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM CT
    • Link
  • Master in Management Virtual Information Session
    • Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM CT
    • Link

I will try and find out more placement information on this program as I am sure everyone considering it is keenly interested in this. I’d imagine there is a growing alumni base at this point as this program has been up and running for a number of years now. More to follow on my end.
