Notre Dame Masters in Management Update

University of Notre Dame MS Business

The Notre Dame Masters in Management program (formally known as ND’s MS in Business) is a great option for anyone with a liberal arts background looking to get a business education to propel them into the working world. The program is on its second year (pretty sure about this) and has been doing extremely well. I’ve had the opportunity to meet with the admissions folk as well as tour the campus and Notre Dame is a very special place.

The 10-month program covers all aspects of business with an optional international study trip to China. I am working on getting detailed placement information, but below is a list of firms that graduates have gone to:

  • AON Catastrophic Risk
  • Ascendant Strategy Management Group
  • Baker & Shultz
  • Citibank – Private Banking
  • Comerica
  • Deloitte
  • E & J Gallo
  • Euromonitor International
  • FINRA
  • First Life Financial
  • Francesan Alliance
  • Merchants Fleet Management
  • Northern Trust
  • Peerless Midwest
  • Protiviti

Round 3 of admissions (and the final round) is fast approaching. Applications need to be in by March 17th for an answer back in April. Here is the 2015 class profile for anyone considering applying for this final round.

  • Number of Students – 48
  • Average GMAT – 635
  • Average GRE – 313
  • Average GPA – 3.4
  • International – 6%

Additionally, 22 universities are represented with the program split one-third STEM graduates and two-thirds humanities.

I am personally a fan of this program and expect great things from it. If you are looking at various masters in management programs I would strongly suggest you consider the ND offering.

Check back soon. I should have more information within the next month.
