Texas A&M Master in Finance Program Update

Texas A&M Mays

The Texas A&M Master in Finance Program used to be only open to undergrads, but this has changed. They have also added additional tracks to go beyond their initial TRIP option.

“Beginning fall 2014, we will offer two new tracks of study: the General Track and the Commercial Banking Track. A third new track, the Trading, Risk, and Investments Program (TRIP) Track, will launch fall 2015. Applications for all three programs are now open.”

This is great news for anyone looking for an additional Texas option. I think the commercial banking track is interesting as it is the only one that I know of offering such a study option for the masters in finance. It is ideal for non business school students seeking a career in commercial banking (loan officer, relationship manager, etc). This track is a little longer than the other ones, but includes an internship.

I will reach out to the admissions director to try and find out more on the program. Once I do I will post an update. You can find the Texas A&M Master in Finance program here.
