University of Michigan Master of Management Program Update – March 2026

It has been almost a year since I checked in on the University of Michigan Master of Management program. Bunch of new updates and information to share. This is one of the top branded MiM programs out there and continues to receive a ton of interest on my site. Enjoy the update!

2026 Class Profile

  • Class Size – 113
  • Average GPA – 3.62
  • Male / Female – 44% / 56%
  • International – 7%

This is the third year where this program has been majority female which is wonderful to see, yet uncommon. GPA and class size have stayed consistent although both slightly lower than the previous year. A whopping 94% of the class is from a non-economics/business background, half as much as the previous year. This program is truly taking non-business students and giving them the background and tools necessary for this industry.

Admissions

For those interested, there are two remaining application rounds.

  • Round 5 (Domestic Applicants Only) – April 3rd
  • Round 6 (Domestic Applicants Only) – May 15th

Not a lot of time left, but if you hurry, you can get a package in.

Tuition for this program is currently $55,960 for Michigan residents and $60,690 for non-residents. A little higher YoY, but not by much. This is a highly competitive and expensive university. Please keep this in mind.

The application is pretty standard and anyone with a 3.3GPA or above can waive the GMAT/GRE.

Miscellaneous

The program has a page full of student experiences and what they used their MiM degree for. I think this is really great and helpful for anyone considering the degree.
