University of Rochester NYC Update – August 2015

University of Rochester Masters in Finance

The University of Rochester MSF program will be hosting their first informational center at their new TriBeCa building on September 9th. Rochester will be discussing and answering questions for all three of the masters programs taught at the NYC campus. I attended one of these events a couple years back and found it to be a great way to get a sense of a program. They had alumni, professors and admissions officers there to speak and engage with.

Here is the official statement:

“The Simon School NYC Programs will host an Information Reception for candidates interested in Simon’s MS in Finance , MS in Management, and MS in Health Care Management in New York City programs. The event will be held from 6:008:00 p.m. at the Simon School’s new, state of the art, TriBeCa facility located at 185 West Broadway. A panel of recent graduates will discuss their career progression and experiences in the 13-month, part-time, graduate programs in Manhattan.  To RSVP, click here.  “

The Rochester NYC program is pretty unique and one of the few NYC based programs that really impress me. I’ve grown up knowing about the University of Rochester and their business school. The Simon Business School has been a great program for as long as I can remember and the innovative nature of their NYC campus is pretty remarkable. They’ve built on the success of the MSF program and now offer Masters in Management as well as a healthcare specialized masters. If you have some work experience and are looking to stay in NYC while working, check the Rochester NYC MSF program out.
