Exciting times! The Vanderbilt University Master in Management program is a brand new specialized masters being offered by the school. It is launching this falls with applications being accepted as we speak. I will do an overview of the program, but keep in mind that this is the inaugural class so things might change over time. Great to see and I am sure this will become one of the top MiM programs out there!
Overview
Right now this program is only for Vanderbilt University undergrads, but I would suspect that over it will open up to outside students as well. This is a 9 month, 30 credit hour, on campus program for business undergraduate students. There are a number of core classes combined with electives, allowing you to focus your education for the desired career outcome.

- MGT 6311: Introduction to Financial Accounting
- MGT 6331: Managerial Finance
- MGT 6342: Leading Teams and Organizations
- MGT 6361: Marketing Management
- MGT 6371: Operations Management
- MGT 6355: Strategic Management
Graduates of the Vanderbilt Hoogland Undergraduate Business Program will come into the Master of Management program with the first five courses already accounted for and will only be required to take MGT 6355: Strategic Management.
Master of Management students are required to select a concentration. Concentrations require a minimum of 12 credit hours. Required electives are included in the 12 hours needed for the concentration.
In planning course work, students should note that not every course is offered every year.

Admissions
At present, Vanderbilt University undergraduate students from the Classes of 2023 through 2026 who have completed the Hoogland Undergraduate Business Program are eligible to enroll for the August 2026 start.
The application process is standard – includes an online application, transcripts, interview, resume, etc. Standardized testing is optional at this time.
Tuition is currently $74,500. Not cheap, but there are a number of scholarship options available.
