I received this nice little update from my friend at the graduate office at the Ohio State University. Here is how the OSU Master in Finance program is going to managed the career services component.
“the Fisher College of Business provides an exceptional Office of Career Management that partners with students during their graduate studies. A dedicated Career Management job search consultant will work directly with SMF graduate students to help perfect resumes, create a target list of companies/firms, improve interviewing skills, and fine-tune job search techniques.
The career consultants at Fisher are located on Fisher’s campus and works exclusively with Fisher students. Furthermore, there is a separate staff for graduate students and another for undergraduate students. The Office of Career Management staff is on top of the latest hiring trends, has strong relationships with several companies and alumni , and helps students position themselves to top-notch employers.
