I’ve featured Northeastern University before with their masters in finance, but I came across a program that I think might interest some of you reading this. The Northeastern MS in International Management is a 10 or 15 months programs providing students the opportunity to study in up to two countries. A pretty remarkable experience.
The program starts in September in Boston, MA (USA), Dublin (Ireland), Reims (France), Reutlingen (Germany), Piacenza (Italy) and August in Puebla (Mexico). You will start the program in the USA, Mexico or France, and complete your studies in the USA, Ireland, or Germany. There is a thesis option, but it is not required.
Application Requirements
- Resume
- Two Recommendations
- Letter of Motivation
- Transcripts
- TOFEL (if appropriate)
- No GMAT Required
Some work experience will help in the application process (6 months – up to 3 years) as well as any contributions to your classroom or outside of school.
Northeastern has some student perspectives from recent graduates. I’ve read through the two they provide which were nice snapshots of the people who apply and what factored into their decision making. I really like how this program is structured and think it would be a pretty exciting masters degree to pursue.
I’ll try and get additional information to add more color to this post, but I thought this might be a degree option of interest for some of you. I’ve been seeing an increased interest in Masters in Management type programs for people with non-business undergraduates who are looking to get a business/management education and go into the corporate world. For those looking to work for multinational corporations or coming from an international background this might be a program to look at. More to follow.
