The Babson College Masters in Finance is another great Boston based MSF program. I last posted about a year ago so I thought it made sense to check in and update everyone on the program. The website has a lot of good, relevant information so this post should be beneficial to anyone considering the program. Enjoy!
Class Profile
- 26% Women
- 73% International Students
- 40% Domestic Students of Color
- Average GPA: 3.52
- Average Work Experience: 1–2 Years
Looking back at my previous post, the class profile has remained largely the same. GPA has increased slightly and the percentage of women has decreased 12%. Otherwise a rather consistent profile.
Admissions
Tuition has increased slightly YoY ($1,820 vs. $1,928). There are two more application windows still open as well so plenty of time to get your application in.
- April 28, 2026
- May 27, 2026
After this there will be rolling admissions for space available. I would suggest targeting the April deadline, otherwise you will be at the mercy of application volume and space available.
Career Information
There is a bunch of information for the 2025 graduating class listed on the site.
- Average Salary – $82,338
- 93% Accepted a job within 6 months of graduation
Where graduates are currently working:
Apple Inc / athenahealth / BNY Mellon / Bright Horizons / Brookline Bank / ETF Global / Gray, Gray & Gray, LLP / HarbourVest Partners / JP Morgan / Kyndryl / Morgan Stanley / Rockland Trust / SunPower / Wayfair
Miscellaneous
The website has a number of events and experiences that MSF students can look forward to. I think the FinTech Week at Babson looks great especially with the advent of AI and its incorporation in every financial firm.
You can also take part in the Babson College Fund, a course where you invest $3MM of the College’s endowment. Recently, students pitched Peter Lynch himself! I was in a two part class when I did my MSF and I found it to be incredibly interesting and exciting to be part of a team pitching an idea that ultimately let to investing real dollars.

Boston is fully of quality MSF options and Babson has done a really good job of creating an interesting and impactful graduate program. They do a very good job of highlighting the program and providing plenty of options to help customize this program to suit a variety of student needs.
