The Emory University Master of Finance program is one of the newer MSF’s and I just wrote about it 4 months ago. I checked the site the other day and noticed they have some current placement information. Since where graduates land once the finish the program is one of the most important aspects when making a decision, I thought it would make sense to write a post on this.
2024 Career Report

Admissions
This years application window is closed, but should open back up again in October. This gives you the summer to get everything in order if you want to apply. The application is fairly standard and this program does require a GMAT/GRE. There are a number of ways to get a waiver so definitely look into wether you qualify or not.
The current tuition is $76,500. This is a slight increase from when I first posted about the program. This is slightly on the expensive side when compared to similar programs, but not the most expensive. The average starting salary looks to justify the higher cost though.
Miscellaneous
There is an upcoming virtual information session coming up in August that I think you might find interesting.
- First Look: 2026 Master of Finance Application
- Friday, August 1st – 9:30AM ET

Emory also has a number of featured MSF students with some perspectives on the program that I found interesting. Always good to hear directly from students about what they thought was valuable.

That is the update for now. Great placements and plenty of time to prepare your application for October 2025. I’ve spent a lot of time in Atlanta and it is a great city with a thriving finance scene. A very nice place to go to school and potentially start your career.
