Georgia State University MSF Update – September 2022

Georgia State University Logo

All, wanted to write a quick note on the Georgia State University MSF program as their application cycle is ramping up and the first round deadline is coming up in a month. This is a program that I have written about for a while now and I try and keep everyone up to speed.

2022-2023 Application Cycle

Anyone interested in this great MSF should take notice of the below deadlines for the upcoming application cycle. You still have roughly a month to meet the first round deadline.

Fall
Round 1: October 3
Round 2*: January 9
Round 3**: March 13
Round 4: May 1

*For priority consideration for graduate assistantships, applications must be submitted by the Round 2 deadline.

**International applicants who need a student visa must apply no later than the Round 3 deadline. We encourage international applicants to apply earlier in the application cycle to facilitate visa arrangements.

The program is relatively affordable and provides a 12 and 16 month option. Classes are held at the Buckhead campus and at night, allowing working professionals to complete their graduate degree without impacting their career.

This is a STEM certified degree, something especially important for international students. Anyone interested in FinTech can also add a certificate program in that focus to your degree.

No GMAT required for those busy professionals who don’t want to take the time and spend the cost when you have an otherwise compelling resume for grad school.

I will be reaching out to see if there are any new student testimonials or placement information. Otherwise, hope you find this brief update helpful, especially if you are considering applying to this great program.
