Johns Hopkins Masters in Finance Update

Carey School of BusinessThe Johns Hopkins Masters in Finance program is pretty popular on my site. I think it is a combination of location (Baltimore and Washington DC) in addition to the globally recognized Johns Hopkins Name. As a result I try and update is starting their 2015-2016 MSF recruiting season and I wanted to update everyone on deadlines and other information pertaining to the program.

Fall 2015 Deadlines

Full-Time MS in Finance and Full-Time MS in Marketing Fall 2016 Round 1 Deadline – October 19, 2015

Part-Time MS, Flexible MBA, and Certificates Spring 2016 Round 1 Deadline – November 6, 2015

Second Degree Option

Another interesting addition to Johns Hopkins is the second degree option. I need to confirm if this is something that is going to be on going, but on their website it mentions anyone graduating this year is able to do another masters in 9 months or an MBA in 12 months. This is great for individuals who want to get two degrees in the same time it would take to get one, as well as for international students who are looking to remain on their student visa a little longer. This needs to be confirmed, but I can’t imagine this great option going away for future students.

Placements

This is something I am continually asked about and I am working on trying to get some more information surrounding this. While I work on this I thought it would be helpful to post the firms who have been hiring MBA graduates. While this isn’t exactly what people want when researching their MSF degrees, I think it shows both who comes on campus to recruit and where Carey alumni are going to work. I will report back once I get additional information:

Top Employers for the 2014 MBA Class
