I just had a great phone call about the Northeastern University Masters in Management program (they call it “MSx”) and I wanted to make sure this degree is included on my website and give all of you an overview of the MSx degree as well as discuss the new MSx FinTech program on their Miami campus. I’ll have an application waiver code towards the bottom as well!
Overview
There is a lot to dig in on this one. You have 4 different options for MSx program delivery and customization: Study in Boston, Miami, Online, or Global with full or part-time options and credits can be applied to an MBA as well, allowing for future optionality.
The MSx in Boston option allows tailoring to your career focus, with flexible program delivery options. There are 14 concentrations with full and part-time options.
MSx in Fintech Management is new and offered at Northeastern’s Miami Campus in Wynwood. This is a STEM-designated degree. This program has both full and part-time options as well.
MSx in Digital Transformation in Healthcare or MSx in Healthcare Administration are fully online programs and allow students to choose two concentrations. These programs offer a strategic collaboration with Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science with optional weekly live sessions with faculty and industry experts.
MSx in Strategic Technology Leadership is delivered online and through global in-person residencies in Boston and London. Classes begin in September and January and it takes between 15-20 months to complete the program.

Each program has their own deadlines, with the part time options on a rolling basis.

Admission requirements are largely similar with GMAT/GRE optional. Students need to fill out an online profile, interview by invitation only (in person programs), resume, references, and transcripts.
Tuition is $1,816 per credit hour (online program is $800). This is as of Feb 1, 2025. The university offers a number of scholarships.

I will get more information, especially on the Miami FinTech option as this is the first year they are launching this. Lots of cool things are happening with Northeastern and I think anyone considering a Masters in Management will find an option that suits their career goals as well as learning delivery methods.
