The Notre Dame Masters in Finance program has recently posted their most recent career statistics. This is always a good reason for an update post as it has been a little while since I last wrote about this MSF. I’ll focus on the career stats first and give a general update after. Enjoy!
2023 Career Information
The Notre Dame MSF program has some incredible placement information from the previous years class. Great program placements and starting salary.
- 100% of MSF Class of 2023 graduates accepted fill-time offers within six months of graduation
- Average Base Salary – $86,000
Comparing this to last year the ND program maintains their 100% placement statistic, an amazing feat. They also manage to increase the base starting salary by $6,000.
In looking at placements by geography, it looks like Chicago and New York City are the two places where students went to work. This is not surprising and if students are looking to work in either of these amazing financial centers.

Class Profile
The Notre Dame 2023 Class Profile looks strong as always. Academics are always stressed at ND and you can expect all the programs they offer to reflect this. Below is the current years profile to help in gauging your relative competitiveness.
- Class Size – 31 students
- Average GPA – 3.61
- Average GMAT – 658
- Female – 24%
- International – 18%
This looks like a manageable class size with good scores. Many of these MSF programs are overweight international students, but the Notre Dame program is mostly domestic students, something hard to achieve.
Admissions
Something to note – this program is for non-finance undergraduates. If you have a finance major you will be ineligible. Applicants with a 3.5 GPA and above or an undergraduate degree from Notre Dame will be eligible to waive their GMAT/GRE requirement as well. Rest of the application is fairly standard.
Tuition for the 2023-24 M.S. in Finance program is $61,160.
Note – Round 3 is quickly approaching. March 19th is the deadline. I strongly recommend anyone interested to get your application in ASAP.
