The University of Notre Dame Master in Finance Program is a brand new, one year MSF program located in downtown Chicago. This program is ideal for working professionals who are looking to advance their knowledge and skills, all the while becoming part of an amazing network of Notre Dame graduates.
The program has both Chicago and South Bend components, allowing students the ability to gain the full Notre Dame experience. The degree involves 32 credit hours, with the ability for students to take a number of electives in order to tailor their degree to their liking. Core classes are in Financial Statement Analysis, Markets, Corporate Finance, Investments, etc.
Something interesting is that it appears that the GMAT or GRE is not required. I am not sure if this is just an omission from the website or something that is planned, but until I find out otherwise I will assume you don’t need it. Very convenient for working professionals who don’t want to waste time preparing for either of these tests.
Total cost for the program is $50,000. Fairly well priced for an MSF with this kind of brand and location. I have no doubt that this program will be in demand as Chicago is a prime market for finance and has a limited selection of specialized masters within the city limits. The Notre Dame brand is phenomenal throughout the country and this is a great opportunity to become part of this network while continuing your career.
