I just got news that the University of Notre Dame MSF program offered part time in Chicago is ending! This is very sad news as this was an amazing option for anyone working in the city and looking to advance their education while still working full time. Notre Dame is now offering a MS in Business Analytics at its downtown campus so there is still a specialized masters option available. Those with flexibility will still be able to pursue a masters in finance on campus in South Bend. You can read about this all here.
MSF on Campus
This is a 38-credit hour, full time, 11-month on campus MSF program offered in South Bend. The program is quantitatively focused and designed for non-finance undergraduates who are looking to refocus their careers. The program starts with a 7-week bootcamp that prepares students with a foundation in accounting, investing, ethical management and more.
This program is specifically for non-finance students. I do not see where finance undergrads are explicitly bared from applying, but I would expect this to be an uphill battle. Applicants who received an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher, or those who will graduate from the University of Notre Dame, may be able to waive the GRE/GMAT.
Interested students should finish their application package soon. The fourth and final application deadline is April 5th.
