I was checking in on the Emory University Master of Finance program and they have a bunch of updated information. This is a newest program at an incredible university so excited to be able to provide all of you an update. Their application window is opening soon as well.
2026 Class Profile
- Class Size – 54 Students
- Average Age – 23
- Average GPA – 3.57
- Average Work Experience – 1.5 years
- Domestic / International – 44% / 56%
- Male / Female – 69% / 31%
This is a decent sized class with some range in work experience. Little heavily weighted towards international students, but that is to be expect with a university with this prominence. Average GPA is on the higher end so anyone applying with a GPA below this should find a way to compensate.
2025 Career Report
The Emory University MSF program continues to have impressive graduation placement statistics. I would expect this to continue and grow as more graduates enter the workforce and this programs alumni base expands.

- $85,000 Median Base Salary
- Employment By Region:
- 41% – Southeast
- 29% – Northeast
- 6% – Midwest
- 6% – Texas / Southwest
- 9% – Mountain West
- 9% – Rest of the World
The majority of students (as one would expect from a MSF) go into the financial services industry (59%), but this program also places graduates into consulting (21%), technology (12%), and manufacturing (3%).
Selected Hiring Firms:
- AllianceBernstein
- Blackrock
- Deloitte
- Goldman Sachs
- JPMorgan
- KPMG
- MUFG

Admissions
As I have written in a previous post, the admissions process is fairly standard with the GMAT/GRE being optional. Current tuition for the program is $78,000 for the 10-month option and $84,000 for the 16-month option. This is a slight increase YoY.
For those interested in the program the application window is just about to open.
- Round 1 – October 14th
- Round 2. – January 13th
- Round 3 – March 3rd
- Round 4 – May 19th
After this there are rolling admissions through July. If you are interested in scholarships the website suggests applying by the 2nd round.

Glad to see this newer MSF doing so well. Emory University is a great school and this program looks to be doing very well in its first couple of years in existence.
