Wanted to check back in on the University of Texas MSF program since it has been almost a year since I last posted. Looks like a bunch of updates. This is one of the top programs in the US and has been since it launched. Enjoy the update.
MSF Class Of 2026
I’ve been posting the class profile for this MSF since the program began listing their profile and UT has been maintained class quality while keeping scores high. I’ll lay out this current profile and include some commentary comparing it to last years profile.
- Class Size – 73 Students
- Average GMAT – 725
- Average GRE – 324
- Average Work Experience – 0.9 years
- Male / Female – 67% / 33%
- Texas / Non Texas Residents – 80% / 20%
Compared to the class of 2025 the only thing differently is the GMAT average jumped up to 725 from mid-600’s. With the test being optional I would imagine students who submit are providing a strong score to offset weakness somewhere else in their profile. The majority (64%) or the class comes from a non-business background as well so anyone who didn’t major in business should not be dissuaded from this program.
Admissions
For those considering this MSF, you still have two more application windows.
- Round 3 – Due March 31st, 2026
- Round 4 – Due May 5th, 2026
Current tuition is split for Texas and Non-Texas Residents – $54,000 and $58,000. This is a roughly 10% increase from last year, but when compared to other MSF’s this tuition is incredibly reasonable.
